I haven't done a Friday Photo Flashback for a little while, so thought as it was such a gorgeous sunny day today, that I would share another sunny day from my past.
This is a holiday photo from the 1960s of my sister, my dad and me, probably somewhere in Cornwall.
Love your photos Janice - such happy times. :)
ReplyDeleteawe, happy days Janice. What a wonderful memory to share.xx
ReplyDeleteSo cute ~ I love when you post early photos!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious, in Britain do you call it going to the beach, the shore, or the coast?
ReplyDeleteOh definitely 'going to the beach' at least that's what we would say in Scotland.
ReplyDeleteI just love these older photos!! Very cool picture!
ReplyDeleteNow that beach looks very much like Crantock beach near Newquay Janice. Or is could be Perranporth...I used to love playing in the sandunes when I was little!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous memories honey XXX

I love old photos, this one is awesome! Love the outfits too :)
ReplyDeleteOh how I LOVE that picture!!!! I haven't seen a dad with abs like that in a long time! Wait, don't look at your dad's abs, that's inappropriate. HA HA Was your hair in pig tails? That's just priceless and I love no matter how far I tend to drift from blogging at times, you are such a sweet, faithful visitor every time. So glad I came to visit ~ ♥
ReplyDeleteWonderful beach photo! You and your sister look so cute and happy, and Marvelous Mommy is right- your dad looks very fit :o)
ReplyDeleteBlessings & Aloha!
My dad would have loved all these comments!
ReplyDeleteOkay then, we're on the same page. On the East coast here in the States they say shore. They're going to the shore. I always laugh. We're going to the coast or to the beach. But then on the East coast they also have supper and that's pretty much foreign out my way. Interesting how sections of countries use language.
ReplyDeleteYou're Dad was really in shape back then huh? I always remember my Dad with a bit of a pot belly ~hehe~ & if you'd mention it he'd always say, "What? It's paid for." lol I'm your latest follower. Old pics are always so much fun. Nice to meet you.
