Lemonade Tag

There seem to be a lot of tags around at the moment. Hazel (Craftyhazelnut) tagged me with this Lemonade tag, it is to recognize someone who shows a great attitude or gratitude, thank you Hazel. I have to pass it on to another five bloggers, this is getting really difficult as you can see I have been well tagged recently.

Anyway, I do know some bloggers with attitude lol, so this is for them: Kaz, Tracey, Gez, Karen and Beth.

Sorry if I've missed anyone from my tagging-fest, it's not that I don't love all your blogs because I do.

Fourth Folder Fourth Foto Tag

Karen tagged me to blog the fourth photograph in the fourth folder on my PC, as I have more than one drive I was able to choose the drive and came on this picture of 'ribs' which was taken in the US in 2007. Our friends have a cabin right off the beaten track in the Sierra Nevada and they have this barbeque grill inside the cabin! It has it's own chimney, surprisingly the ribs were delicious lol.

I'm going to tag Kaz, Gez, Sue, Di and Caroline

How lovely to be awarded the You Make Me Smile Award by Sam at Incywincy Togs. Sam introduced me to Tuggle a great co-operative craft sales website to help crafters work together to get better marketing for their goods. She sells lovely children's clothes, not much good to me as mine are too old to be children and not old enough to have children of their own - at least I hope not!!!!

Most of the people who make me smile have got this award already 'cos they are lovely smiley people but I might just have to give them it again! So here goes: Hazel - you are such a dedicated crafter and a constant inspiration, Rosie(Freycob) lovely lady makes me laugh so much on Bubblyfunk that my DH thinks I have gone mad, Tracey - doesn't have a blog but makes me laugh a lot too, Beth - OMG what can I say, this woman looks at things in a way that has me rolling about with laughter, Lythan - I know you have had this before, but your blog makes me smile every time I read it...you know I could go on and on. There are some great people out there in the blog land and I love to read about your lives. As Bruce would say (if he was a blogger) Keeep blogging.

Tagged

I've just been visiting Hazel's blog and see that I've been tagged. So here goes:

1. If you could have £100 worth of scrapbook paper or assorted embellishments, which would you choose? I think I would go for the embellishments, I have quite a lot of paper and although I know you can never have enough, somehow I never get around to buying all those fabby embellishments and then I am scrabbling around trying to find just the right thing to finish a card and get frustrated, so a big pile of stuff would be great.
2. If you had to choose between using only stamps or rubons, which would you choose? That's easy, Stamps every time, you can use them again and again. I haven't really got into rub ons at all but I love my stamps.
3. If you knew how to do both awesome cards and layouts but could only do one for a whole year...which would you do? I haven't quite got going on scrapping yet, I am teetering on the verge of doing a scrapbook for my DS1s 21st bday in January (I know I need to get on with it) it might be interesting to spend a year working on LOs to build up techniques so I will go for that.
4. Would you rather own a scrapbooking store or have your own scrapping room at home...(can't have both he he he) This is really hard, I'd love my own craft shop, but probably not exclusively for papercrafts, those who have read this blog before will know that I love textiles too. However, I really need my own room for all my stuff, so as long as my sewing machine, embellisher and all my boxes of fibres and fabric could be accommodated as well as all my paper, stamps, glue, and tools for papercrafting - then I think I would go for a dedicated craft room.
5. And last but not least, what is your CURRENT cardmaking or scrapping style. I think this is the hardest question of all. Stamping and embossing is quite prevalent, but also painting my stamped images with H2os and gel pens, bit of watercolouring too. Overall my style is one of bold simple images and not too much fuss, which pretty much sums up my fashion style, my interior decoration style and my personality - not that I'm saying I'm simple! Maybe I should have said classic - too late now, I can see my bubblyfunk friends rolling about and laughing at me ROLF.

Okay so there doesn't seem to be a requisite number of people to tag, so I will go for Kate(Craftlife) and Rosie (Freycob)

DCM Dare

I've been working on my DCM dare and one for Bex's Forum, but not quite finished yet and as my sister-in-law is visiting wont get done until later tomorrow. I'm thrilled to have been tagged by Kate, so even more crafting to do. Will be back soon, just as well I am on holiday on Monday, looks like the housework will have to wait!
