Rings - 365+1

It had to be the Olympic Rings!  I thought the opening ceremony was outstanding and stayed up right to the end to see the flame being lit.  I would have loved to be there, but instead had a grandstand seat in my living room and took some photos of the ceremony on tv.  This is the part where the Olympic Flag was carried to the flag pole, you can see the rings on the flag and also at the back of the stadium.

    Beautiful LO. We also stayed up until the end. It was really fantastic, To be honest, I didn't expect it to be so good, lol !

    love the colours of the layout. Afraid I didnt manage to stay up to see all the ceremony but have watched bits and Richard recorded it too.

    I also managed to stay up to see the end but only because I had a nap in the afternoon. Roland took some photos as well

    I think it's good to mark the moment as I am sure the games will be a landmark in history, everyone remembers the different cities and the different years x
