This cheeky hawk was sitting on the fence right outside our back kitchen window! I took the photo through the window, I then opened the window, but he flew away before I could get another shot. It must be the cold that is bringing them nearer the house.

This cheeky hawk was sitting on the fence right outside our back kitchen window! I took the photo through the window, I then opened the window, but he flew away before I could get another shot. It must be the cold that is bringing them nearer the house.

We had one in the summer that sat on the gate to our paddock for a couple of hours and didn't shift even with us moving cars around! Hope yours found something nice to eat to keep him going!
