Elemental Inspiration for Daring Cardmakers

It's been a long time since I made a card, but I saw the Elemental Inspiration challenge come up on the Daring Cardmakers Facebook page and I just loved the inspiration piece so decided to see if I can restart my crafting mojo!

I'm not entirely pleased with this card, however it does meet the criteria for the challenge which is to include elements from the original inspiration, pop over the the site to see the original.  Here are the elements I used:

I haven't made any resolutions this year, but I would like to do a little more crafting, so this is a good place to start.

  1. Hi Janice, how lovely to see you making cards again!
Thanks for joining in with The Daring Cardmakers this week, I really like the way you've made use of your chosen elements from that gorgeous piece of artwork - and I'm so pleased it was the inspiration you needed to get crafting again :)

  2. Oooh Janice, how lovely that you used our dare to be crafty again. I can clearly see the influences and it is a fab card - I love the colour combination you have used

  3. I can spot lots of elements from our inspirational picture on your card at the first glance! Good job.
I hope you'll find the time and motivation to craft a bit more often.

  4. Your card is lovely. I especially like that yummy line of candy hearts :-)

  5. Your mojo is back!! Love the elements you have included in your card. Thanks for joining in at the Daring Cardmakers. x

  6. Yay, lovely to see your blog pop into life on my sidebar! Hope you are well! This looks like a great re-start on your cardmaking adventures, the overlapping heart border is lovely!
