Bubbly Scrumptious Weekly Challenge - Vintage
I thought I'd do something slightly different for this week's Bubbly Scrumptious challenge. There have been a lot of vintage challenges and I've done quite a few cards, so I thought I'd make something from my vintage textile stash! This little heart is made from the whitework border on an old cotton underskirt, there are several layers of this embroidery so you may see it again! The pearl necklace is not vintage but the bracelet is gold and pearls and belonged to my grandmother, I wore it on my wedding day.

That's beautiful Janice, so good to see something different. The pearls really set it off. x

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous Janice! I'm not sure which is worse - cutting into a lovely piece of fabric like that or leaving it somewhere it will never see the light of day! Love your photography of it with the necklace and bracelet, too!
