DCM Paint the Town

Paint the, green, sky blue pink with yellow dots on, or any colour you fancy, with acrylics, H2Os or watercolours, with brushes, sponges or splatters. We don't mind, as long as you use paint on your cards. So have some fun with the DCM and get Painty this week.

I love a to slap on nice thick layers of acrylic paint, so I had a lot of fun with this dare. The red background was Versamark stamped with the Cornish Heritage Farm 'Woodgrain' Backgrounder, the same stamp was used on paper with Adirondack Dye Ink in 'Woodlands'.
I stamped into the wet acrylic paint with three bargain clear stamps (sorry name has been lost) and then stamped them onto card. The sentiment stamp is Stampin' Up.

  1. Fab Autumn colours on this one Janice. I see you've been shopping at Joanne's fave stamp shop!!!

  2. Still one of my favourite BGers is the woodgrain - love it! Don't forget the online referral program, will you? ;o)

  3. Lovely back ground stamp, could imagine it being a handy stamp to have with lots of uses. What a good idea to stamp into wet paint, very effective. :o)

  4. You've certainly painted the town ... Janice - I bet you enjoyed doing that.

  5. I love all the fab textures you've got here, Janice - it looks wonderful and the colours are perfect

  6. That acrylic pain looks so effective Janice.
I would never have thought of stamping into it while it was still wet.
