I've been trying to take a photograph from the Clackmananshire Bridge since it was built, you get a great view of the Ochil Hills.  On Christmas Day as we drove up to visit my Mum, I was a passenger so could take some pictures.  The sky was blue the sun was out, but the photos were not that great, some had the wing mirror reflecting and the barriers were just at the height that they got in the way.
This photo was taken towards the end of the bridge, I've processed it in my new Lightroom software to give it an interesting tonal quality.  Love the little film strip which was a freebie designed by Laura Bavin which came with Papers and Pixels Digital Magazine.

Papers and Pixels - July

The July edition of Papers and Pixels is available on the Papers and Pixels Forum NOW!  You need to join the forum to download it, but it is really worth it.  This month there are a lot more paper crafting ideas and templates, so if you are more of a paper crafter than digital, it is worth a look.  There are plenty of digital techniques and freebies as well.

Journalling:
For my 21st Birthday, I flew to California on Freddie Laker Airlines, one of the first low cost airlines inthe UK.  Friends  took me to
Baker Street where I had my caricature drawn and the waiters sang Happy Birthday to me.  This sort of thing just didn't happen at home so it was a very special
experience.

The dress in the inset photo was the one I was wearing when the caricature was drawn.

Oh my goodness I can't believe how much stuff there is in this month's edition of Papers and Pixels.  It's not only the amazing digital tutorials, but there are lots of paper crafting ideas as well with the emphasis on Valentine's Day and it's FREE

Papers and Pixels is a FREE digital magazine with lots of tutorials and ideas for both paper crafting and digital scrapbooking.

This is the first edition in which my work is featured as part of the Creative Team, this time it's digital but I am hoping to do some paper crafting for the January edition.

I was thrilled when Laura Boetto asked me to join the Creative Team for Papers and Pixels On-line Craft Magazine.  

Papers and Pixels Magazine is created for digital and paper scrappers, card makers, and anyone who loves to create their own gifts. When we handcraft a gift for a friend or loved one, our signature stamp is on it… telling the recipient it was made with care, thought, and love. It’s a very special gift indeed when we give something we have made by hand.
