Christmas 365+1

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are enjoying Boxing Day too.  Here is something that was on my table, not today or yesterday but could well have been as it is Delia Smith's Christmas Fruit Compote.  I'm very taken with the red and white Scandanavian look which is prevalent at the the moment and pleased that I have Maya de Groot's Santangles digitial kit in the same sort of design.

This photo epitomises the delight of spending time with our grandson on Christmas morning.  He really wasn't intrested in opening his presents, he wanted to play with his grandpa.  The kit is Kate Hadfield's 'Deck the Halls'.

Artifical and Soft - 365+1

Going out with a Bang - Maya de Groot
I was working late last night so didn't get my layout done.  The prompt was 'Artificial', I don't often eat crisps but love these ones with absolutely nothing artificial.

Paper Chouk77 for Digital Crea, Kate Hadfield - Family Tree
Today's prompt is 'Soft'.  I love the beech leaves when they first unfurl and have a little soft, fuzzy edge.

Bumpy - 365+1

Kate Hadfield - Deck the Halls, Digital Crea Collab - Sit Back and Relax
As soon as I saw the prompt 'Bumpy' for Suzie's 365+1 challenge I knew I had to include my Dad in my layout.  Bumpy was the name my son called his Grandpa when he first started to speak, it stuck and he was Bumpy right up until both boys became too self-conscious in their mid-teens and started to call both my parents by their own names.  My Dad is no longer with us but that single word brings him back to me.

Light - 365+1

Kit: Family Tree by Kate Hadfield, M Godin, R Young for Lilypad

Today's prompt is Light.  This is a silhouette of my husband with the light behind him.  I was inspired in this digital scrapbook page by a layout by Katy Fox in the May 2012 issue of Scrap 365.

Cross - 365+1

Kate Hadfield, R Young - Family Tree, JD Blooming, Julie Marie - Bailey
Suzie's prompt for today was 'Cross' for St George's Day.  I don't have 'a cross' for your but I do have 'across' if you see what I mean!  The photograph has been treated with a Sumi-e filter in PSE.
