Daring Daisy and Mothers Day

The first dare of every month at Daring Card Makers Blog this year is themed around the flowers associated with that month.  For April it is Daisies and Sweet Peas.  I chose to go with Daisies and found this stamped image I received in a swap about four years ago.  The flowers are coloured with Copics, a white gel pen and some Distress ink for the background blue.  The 'daisy' came from 'The Works' when they were closing down, I coloured it with Copics to match the stamped image.  I can't remember where the 'stem' ribbon came from, it's been incredibly useful so I will need to look out for some more!  

The Daisy Card went to my MIL for Mothers Day, but I thought I would also show you the digital image I made to put on the card for my mother.  That is her holding me in the photograph at Butlins, she phoned me yesterday to say how surprised she was to see that photo when she opened the card and how much she liked it.  The kit is from Athena Gray, DSD by Athena, I used to be on her CT but sadly she has stopped designing for the moment.
