Rusty Charm?

I generally spend about 5 minutes in the morning trying to find the earrings that I want to wear.  I can usually find one but then have to tip all the rest out and sort through to find the pair!  I was getting fed up of this, so when I saw a frame for hanging your earrings on in Craft Stamper, I knew I had to make one.

I also thought I'd enter it in to the Tando Challenge  although I think I am pushing it rather as the theme is 'Rustic Charm'.

Here is a definition of Rustic:

1: of, relating to, or suitable for the country : rural <rustic rolling farmland> Well, I live on a farm in the country.
2a : made of the rough limbs of trees <rustic furniture> b : finished by rusticating rustic joint in masonry> There is a tree on my frame.

  1. ok so, stand up and repeat after me

'my name is janice and I am an earring optimist'

  2. It looks super Janice.
I can just imagine you on a Sunday evening planning which earrings you are going to wear for the week and putting them on here all ready.

  3. That looks stunning Janice and yes I do think that living on a farm doesn't really come through on your "rustic" earring organiser but it is super in it's own right.

  4. This turned out beautifully, love the gold embossing and twinkly tree!

  5. What a fabulous way to store your ear-rings. It is classy ,but does have a rustic feel to it.

  6. Looks great. Trees and butterflies definitely count as rustic... What did you use for the middle bit?

  7. Sue - no planning, that's why I need to find them quickly in the morning!

Hilary - it's Glitterati Glitter mesh, but in the magazine they just use netting, you know like tutus lol!
