Fall - 365+1

Sherwood Studio - Thrift
We had some late afternoon sun and I nipped up the road when I got home from work to see if there were any blackberries to photograph.  There were, but they seem to be very late to ripen this year with the terrible weather we have had.  Last night, we had gale force winds and torrential rain, hard to believe when you see the sun shining on this thistle head which has already spread it's fluffy seed heads.

  2. we had heavy rain at 6am, laying in bed I could hear it which made me not want to get up an hr later...but when I got up the sun was shining which I hadnt expected. We had the wind though :) least my washing got dry although i was worried it would blow away. I love the photo of the thistle and the layout.

  3. We have a playing field next to us which has blackberries. I am popping into it at regular intervals and picking the odd container full to stew for the freezer. Not as many as last year though as you say.
