Daybreak (not) 365+1

Digital Crea Collab -Lovely Poppies, Coppercurls Designs - Photo Mask
I missed the prompt for today, it was 'Daybreak' but it was long past daybreak when I saw it, even though Suzie had posted it last night.  So instead you are getting a photograph I took yesterday of a camelia in the grounds at my work.

Dinner - 365+1

Digital Craft Cottage - Template #12, Ellie Lash - New Dawn
The prompt today is 'Dinner' but I didn't check the web until after I'd eaten so you are getting a dinner photo which I took for my food blog.

Morning Routine - 365+1

L Bozeman - White space template and kit Marguerita Time
Posting a little earlier than usual as I'm on holiday today, that was also not partiucularly helpful for today's challenge as I am not in my usual routine! However, I've had some pain in my shoulder and neck since before Christmas,  it is beginning to improve but I still have to take these tablets three times a day, so they are very much part of my 'Morning Routine'.

9PM - 365+1

DSD by Athena - Home
This was an interesting prompt!  Suzie asked us to take a photo of what we were doing at 9pm.  I was watching Titantic, the telly mini-series leading up to the centenary of the sinking of the Titantic or 'Drownton Abbey' as it seems to have been nick-named on Twitter!

Bedtime - 356+1

Lovely Poppies - Digital Crea Collaboration
Relax, Rest, Sleep. That's what it says on my M & S Nightie!  Another catch-up for 365+1.

Clock - 365+1

Paper - Wilma 4ever, Text - Cottage Arts, Element- DSD by Athena
I've had a few days off from the 365+1, but will be catching up over the next couple of days.  This is my kitchen clock with a little bit of PSE trickery!

Calm - 365+1

Hoity Toity and Snap by Maya de Groot
I'm cheating today by using an old photo from Summer 2010.  This is the River Tay at Kenmore.  It was a beautiful day and the river was completely calm.

Music - 365+1

Template: Stripes by L.Bozeman, Kits: by Sugarplumpaperie
My husband plays saxophone and his teacher, Marcus Blunt,  is a composer for clarinet as well as a teacher.  This is his latest Sonata.  This one isn't available on Youtube but there are a couple of pieces, played at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival by the London Schubert Players, that you can listen to HERE and HERE

Shapes in Nature - 365+1

Snickerdoodle Designs - Granny Finch's Garden, Mel Designs - I'm like a bird, Cottage Arts - Paper Blends
I love the shapes these tree stumps made in the woods with their moss and lichen and all the different angles.

Garden - 365+1

Butterflies & Bluebells - Art Blends, Petitsouris - Le Bal de sorcieres
Not quite 'the garden', more 'the field' but the principle is the same. The tree came down before Christmas and as the trunk and thicker branches were cut up the smaller branches were piled up in the field.  It's been so wet this spring that we have had not opporutnity to burn them until this weekend.

Hiding - 365+1

Template: Binty's Dec IL Template, Kit: JYurko - Gerald Mini
Another template today as I felt the need to have three photos to illustrate today's prompt 'Hiding' I've kept this book for 25 years, it was one of his Dad's favourites too.

Plants - 365+1

Template: By Sine SOWays 03, Gingerscraps - Scrap your Life, Ellie Lash - Flower Shop
Looking back over the posts so far this month, I see that I am a little obsessed with Spring!  Maybe it is because I live in Scotland and it takes much longer for spring to come here. Also out in the country, where there is less shelter, the daffodils have only started to flower this week.  More of a traditional layout for today, using a template.

Many thanks for all the kind comments I have received recently, I really do appreciate them.

Fuzzy - 365+1

DB Designs - Harvest of Gladness

Bathtime - 365+1

I don't have a bath in my house only a shower, but I thought it would be fun to repost this page I made in 2010.  We were staying at Appleby Manor and the bathroom had a television in the wall, so you could relax in the bubbles and watch TV - it was fab!

Cooking - 365+1

SD Drum - Kitchy Kitchen, Amy Stoffel - La Cucina
Today's prompt made me smile, as I am always cooking and blogging aout it on my other blog Farmersgirl Kitchen.  However, Tuesday night is easy, we have fish and chips, cooked in the oven. It all started when my son was going straight out for guitar lessons and we had to have something quick and easy, he left home four years ago now, but we stuck with the easy meal.  Normally we would have frozen peas with it but I had been given some sweetcorn bites to review so we had them instead!  I'll be blogging about them very soon.  So not much cooking tonight at all!

Spring Flowers - 365+1

Kalina - Esprit Poudre, Coppercurls - Photomask 204
I've gone off topic today, just couldn't come up with anything for the prompt 'arranged' so rather than not post, I've used a photo I took last week of the primroses.

Double 365+1 Catch Up

Thalaris - the power of flowers
Thursday's prompt was 'Grass', we have vast expanses of grass where I live and also at the place where I work most often.  I know I am very lucky to have such a great place to live.

Connie Prince - Spring is my Thing
Today's prompt is 'Comfort', I went out with the camera to catch a few signs of Spring.  It finally felt like it was on it's way today, although we are forecast a colder spell by Sunday this week.

Extraordinary Leap Day Experience - 365+1

Hey it was plus one day yesterday, that extra and extraordinary day for Leap Year.  I was lucky enough to be invited to La Tasca, Tapas Bar in Renfield Street, Glasgow.  There will be a full review on my blog very soon but in the meantime I am using this photo of the Sangria making lesson as my photo for 29th February 2012.
