Dirt = Plants.  Here is my courgette plant, which has been loving all the rain and has already provided me with a couple of courgettes with more on the way.

I've no idea how old this spoon must be, I've had it for 27 years and it looked just the same then, so I can only imagine it is about 50 or 60 years old at least!
