Last week, the Daring Card Makers were in full on Royal Wedding mode. I made my card during the week, but just didn't get around to blogging and linking it, so I am posting it now with my card for the current dare. I thought this young lady looked like she could have been a very patriotic guest or one of those many people who filled the Mall in her red, white and blue.

This week the Dare, being the first in May, is flower related and the two flowers on offer were Hawthorn and Lily of the Valley. I love Hawthorn flowers, but I knew I had this image which I scanned from a Christmas card belonging to Mr Serial Crafter's grandmother. I have always thought it was a strange flower to have on a card at Christmas but there you go. The verse reads as follows:
All Happiness be thine this Christmas
Year after year I pray your life
May ever grow more bright and fair,
May you earth's sweetest crown wear,
And all your days with joy be rife.

That's a bit odd too lol! The triangular shape of the card lent itself well to an easel card.
